Meet Nitin Dhami
What kind of people are behind Intrepid Challenges and the unique journeys they create?
Nitin is an Indian resident living in Chamba Himachal Pradesh. When not leading tours he works with his father operating Eco and sustainable tourism in Chamb valley.
Nitin is passionate about traveling and seeing the world. "I have learned so many things from my travels, traveling is my institute to learn about life and this materialistic world. By traveling I have gained vast knowledge about my country, its history, customs, heritage, cultures and geography". Over the last 4 years he has led our adventures in India, Nepal, Ladakh and Sri Lanka from cycling to high altitude trekking to community projects.
He is happiest in the mountains, the higher the better having completed his Advanced mountaineering course and been to 6000m twice on different mountaineering expeditions. He also is an adrenalin freak with a love of speed through paragliding to motorbike safaris. He speaks Hindu, Engish, Punjabi and several local dialects and is about to complete his Bachelor of Tourism degree.
